Hi, this is my first instructable!
I'm going to show you how to make a prop lightsaber hilt or handle.
Please tell me what you think in the comments. This took me about an hour and a half to make and is not that hard, you will only need basic hack sawing and riviting skills.

Step 1: Materials

For this you will need
2 chrome plated tubes (one should fit into the other)
Around 11 rivets
tap handle

Pop riviter

Step 2:

Start by cutting the two bars to size.
Next drill 4 holes in the tap handle and larger bar then rivet them on.
then rivet the smaller bar into the larger bar ( cut the large bar 4cm away from the tap handle)
measure 6cm and then rivet a 9cm piece of the larger bar to the small bar and paint one rivet red and one gold/brass
finally cut a diagonal piece of the large bar and your done!

Step 3: Finished

So now you have your own lightsaber prop!
Tell me in the comments if you liked it or not and why.

Can a popriveter work for this?

im going to revamp this for my trials! i must build a hilt for myself!

AMAZING! Definitely going to make this soon!

Where did you get the tubes from?

not bad i kind of liked it but could you try to make a blade for it
