Introduction: The Purple Evil Minions

The purple minions are my son's favourite from the movie- Despicable Me 2. Instead of having the 2 eyes minions, I decided to make it a one eyed mascots. The distinctive features of the Purple Evil Minions are: very long arms, long fuzzy hair, long sharp white teeth and very, very hairy.

Step 1: Making of the Eye Goggle

Get a clock and remove mechanism and clock face- leaving a hallow shell behind. Spray paint craft magnets with silver paint. Get a pie pan and drill 2 holes and sew a black strap over the 2 edges of the pan. Use a purple cloth and attached it a goggly eye using tape. Glue the eye to the pie pan. Secure the pie pan to the frame of the clock and wait for it to dry. Use the glue gun to secure magnets around the circumference of the clock frame about 3 inches apart.

Step 2:

Use a laundry hamper. Cut up 2 holes for the arms and 1 for the mouth. Use glue gun to make padding for the arm area. Remove excess materials to remove the excess weight. Use unwanted stuffies and stuffing to fill the top of the basket. Use glue gun to secure the foam onto the basket.

Step 3: Sewing the Arm, Tongue and Sleeve

Use white painter gloves as it cheaper than golf gloves.

Step 4: Sewing the Golfer's Short

I use an old dress and turn it into a shorts

Step 5: Hairy Chin and Arms of the Minions

Secured black nylons onto the surface of the mascots to create the effect of a hairy minion....

Step 6: Making of the Pants

Step 7: Making of the Hat

Add a white pom pom to the checkered golfer hat using a glue gun.

Step 8: Sewing the Wig and Teeth Onto the Mascot

Step 9: Lining of the Mascots

Remember to line the mascots to prevent frills and materials from falling apart and also makes the mascot more comfy for the person putting it on.
