The code is in the simulation (which is embedded into the Instructable), just click "Code Editor" and you'll see it and be able to copy/paste.
The primary (he calls "generator") oscillates. You have to touch the base of the transistor to kick-start it. Would be cool to put an oscilloscope on the output coil and measure the frequency.
