Thank you Charlynn! Im glad you found it helpful. I had the same issue trying to find a simple comparison between ink jet and laser printer results. Ive since bought a laser printer myself, so far so good. I wish I had bought one sooner

Thanks Dan! :)
Děkuji
Thanks Richard! Unfortunately the stencils are one time use. It might be possible to cut some acetate and use a light spray adhesive but I've never tried it, just a thought Ive had
View Instructable »You can use etching cream too. I've used Armour Etch and it works really well for what it is. I wasn't happy with the coverage though and compared to sandblasting the etch isnt vary visible.

Thank you! Thats very kind of you to say. I hope you find it useful when you tackle your riverbed table :)
Thank you! Thats a great idea :)
Haha Thanks! Track saw is also called a plunge saw lol
View Instructable »Thank you! I did have a nightmare with it haha I thought I was best to add some proteciton on top of the resin because I dont know how suseptable it is to scratching. With drinks and other things being thrown on coffee tables all the time I wanted a hard wearing finish on top

Thank you Graham! Im really glad you liked it.
Thank you! This is the first time I've tried anything like this so I cant say for 100% that it wont but I'm confident it will be fine. The moss should only go brown when exposed to oxygen. Its sealed in resin so it shouldnt go brown or rot.
Thank you! It was roughly 3 litres of resin to fill it haha
View Instructable »Thanks for your honest feedback. Everyone has different tastes I guess. You can make things as realistic and as abstract you like really. The possibilities are endless :)

Thank you! A router sled would have been a much better choice for sure. I'll definitely make one ready for the next table I make
View Instructable »Thanks! Those are great ideas. I did concider putting in a toy car tyre but like you say I didnt want to clutter it.

Thanks Paul! :)
That is a possibility for sure but with the timber being very well seasoned and it being sealed with polyurethane I'm confident in its movement being minimal. Especially being an indoor piece of furniture
Thanks Alex! :)
View Instructable »I was going to add a lazy susan but it was really noisey so I decided against it. the lazy susan would help to reach the back though unfortunately

Thanks mate! They are very handy indeed :)
Thanks! It really makes the job simple. I kept the guide to 6mm thick so I could maximise the cut depth of the saw. The thicker the guide, the shallower the saw can cut
View Instructable »Thanks mate! Glad you found it helpful. I havent made an 8ft one yet but it is on my list. I just didnt have the material on hand. I ended up shuffling the board along when I needed to make longer then 4ft cuts :)
