About
Hi. I am known around the internet from lots of different sites as Muddoll or some may know me as Chainsaw. Where I live, I am notorious for sporting synthetic cyber dreads. Over the last two years, I have almost perfected my methods of making them, and would love to share those methods with all of you.
When I started making them, I couldn't find a really good tutorial that explained well enough what I needed to know. So my goal on Instructables is to explain everything I have learned for all of you wandering down the path of individuality so that you don't have the questions that I did.

Anything I don't answer, feel free to ask! And if there was something I could have better explained, let me know! I will do my best, but all and any feedback is welcome.

As dreads will be my main focus, I will also add tutorials on any DIY projects that I work on, including sewing and house decor.

***I ALSO SELL DREADS INCLUDING THE ONES FEATURED ON MY INSTRUCTABLES. IF YOU WANT TO PURCHASE THEM, MESSAGE ME! I'M ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR ORDERS, AND I KEEP MY PRICES VERY MANAGEABLE! IF YOU WOULD RATHER NOT MAKE THEM YOURSELF I WILL GLADLY MAKE THEM FOR YOU.***

I love to DIY and make everything my own so look for all the fun stuff on the way including makeup tutorials, and sewing tutorials!

And if you have any requests, ask and I will do my very best to explain it all to you guys!

Good luck and happy DIYing!

how do you wash your hair with the synthetic dreads in? Mine are a pain to wash and there's always those flaky white bits that I can't get rid of. Any advice?

hey muddoll. i was wondering if you would ever do an instructable on how to put these into your hair. i've seen a few other tutorials on how to "install" synthetic dreads. but they were a bit confusing.

I think I'm going to stalk you on here; I've been wanting dreadlocks for awhile. Sadly my hair seems to have this unnerving habit of not being long enough. So I might as well learn how to make and attach them :D

I seriously like love you right now. I was just thinking the other day that i should do fake dreads, because my hair is only like 2 inches long in the back, but i have bangs. i needed a solution to grow my hair out. Question: Have you done dreads with packs of human-hair? i want something i can sew in and wear for an extended amount of time (without getting too funky). Please and thank you!
