  • International Travel With Only a Carry-On (and Other Tips)

    Pretty much everything in this instructable applies to both men and women. Just tailor your clothing choices to your personal style, where you're going, and what you're doing. (FYI, men in the middle east don't wear shorts - they wear capris! A male friend on this trip had to borrow a wrap skirt to be allowed into a mosque because his shorts didn't cover his knees and it was considered inappropriate for a religious site.) As far as water purification goes, it really depends on where you're going, so just do the research. Most larger cities worldwide will have drinkable water, or if not, bottled water available. Honestly, the only place I've ever needed purification was camping in the USA. You're far more likely to have digestive issues due to something simple like a sudden dietary...

You're far more likely to have digestive issues due to something simple like a sudden dietary change, or eating too much sugar in a hot climate.Travel insurance is useful, and it can cover things such as cancelled flights and sudden changes in plans as well, depending on what kind of insurance you get.
