Tell us about yourself!
I really like it and imagine the biggest obstacle for you guys was the shape of the hull--it not being very hydrodynamic.
Well done, sir.
I did something very similar with an old fertilizer spreader for my kayak. I love the ingenuity. Keep up the good work.
Nice job. I would suggest that if you're going to use AA batteries, to use rechargeables.
Small Compact Kayak Wheels
You have a good eye for color combinations. Wish you the best of luck with your missions.
Seconded. I especially appreciate the finger tab.
The motion is so realistic!

Thanks for posting the video. I appreciate your efforts.Good kit, too, and I especially like the knotwork on your lanyards. The compass lanyard in the intro picture looks great.
That's great! I'm going to have to try these. They'll look good on my desk at work.
Thanks guys. It's really comfortable too.

I _love_ this kind of stuff! Great job.I'd suggest building this upside down, though, such that the larger tube us on top in order to prevent the accumulation of rain water.
Great guide! Thanks heaps!
Basic Welding --
I'd be curious to hear how this has fared in the 6 years since it was made.I'd also suggest programming the capability (perhaps with another toggle switch) to have the signals on always, and the appropriate one blinking when needed. That makes you more visible and also makes it easier for cars to identify your lights as turn signals.
Jazz me up, too. It's been 2 years since you promised the series. :-)
Simple Carry Sling
Actually, that's not necessary. If you do the TXT -> nmea rename, there's a dropdown to open nmea data in the open dialog of Google Earth. I just did that and it worked without problems.
Currently only breadboarded, but I used a tiny $16 SparkFun GP-20U7 GPS, a 3.3v regulator, 3xD cell batteries, a switch, and of course the openlog. Works great! Planning to take it on a long sailing trip next year. Thanks again, tinkrmind!
GPS TRACKER WITH NO PROGRAMMING
Nice and simple. Thanks.I would suggest though that you not type in all caps as it makes your instructable harder to read.

I bet it looks nice, too. Upload a pic if you can.
I like that storage idea, too. But you can combine the two projects (use O-rings instead of grinding) and have the best of both worlds.
Seriously, though, an apple logo on the ends of the dowel would make great finishing touches to this really nice project. A simple marker or, even better, wood burning tool could achieve this in no time.
