Great job on upgrading the shut off valve. BUT you should place the washer on the 'water' side. I will make the instructions on the Aquabarrel.com website more clear. I'm sorry for any leaks we may have caused you. - Barry

Thanks for the info-- it doesn't seem to be leaking, but when I take it down for the winter I will reverse the washer. The flow rate out of the new valve is fantastic, it takes seconds to fill our watering cans instead of a minute.
