Re: advice on keeping everything lined up:Next time, instead of using a pan as a placeholder for your negative space, you could try using ordinary soft clay for pottery. You could just push your pipe nipples straight into it, and even sculpt channels for the wiring, etc. as long as the clay stays moist, it would be easy to dig out after the concrete sets. You could even put the used clay back into a plastic bag with a tiny bit of water and save it to use on a future project.
