I've found the tape in 1", 2", and 3 inch. The skinnier tape will have more lines but the thicker you have to stretch more. Working with the 2" do you think 1" or 3" would have been better or 2" the best.
Awesome tip. Thanks, EldonMartin. We just started raising rabbits for FFA, so this will come in handy.

HD DirecTV dishes are larger than HD Dish Network dishes now a days. The best method for finding a cheap reflector (that's the part of the dish you need) is to call your local satellite installer at www.satellitetechnicians.com. They are professionals, either ask them how much one costs, or offer ~$20 for the reflector and arm. Do let them know that you do not need the LNB (that is the expensive part at the end of the arm). Otherwise they might want you to pay close to $100 for an entire HD dish. It may be a good idea to get the mounting hardware as well from them, if you think you could use it when setting up your solar cooker.

I'll definitely be making a trip to Goodwill this weekend and giving this a try! I just started Steelhead fishing here in Oregon, and as Penelope said, spoon fishing can become an expensive hobby in a hurry. Plus, there's something really gratifying about catching a fish on a handcrafted lure. Thanks Eldon. -Shawn

If this is for all day outside use, I think it needs a piece of plyboard on top so the rabbit can sit in the shade in an open area with ventilation. Because rabbits really don't do well in hot sun or heat. Wild Rabbits really go underground in the heat of the day in burrows where its cool so sun on a hot day isn't good for them.
Wow your're so creative, I love that. Since I was a young i used to catch fish using fishing materials; baits, reels and etc... Now we tried in the beach with my friends, we bought our fishing accessories at www.agusanmarsh.net online fishing store..
