The funny thing is that I am not handy at all. My father would kick my butt anytime I touched any of his tools as a kid. Pretty much kept me away from building/fixing things. But I have a bit of a bug to release that side of me now. I have an idea for making an outdoor workbench as I live in an aprtment with a small patio. I have an old coke syrup barrel. Going to turn it over, cut out a door, apply some hinges, put a wood top on it, and put a small shelf inside it. It will be like a mini shed/workbench. Total cost should be $20 bux.
That sounds sweet. One of everyone's first projects should making their own work bench.
