Faren is the nickname for a young geek named Jeremy. Jeremy enjoys various activities other than the computer related ones but has nonesuch time for them. Besides, where would he find the time to listen to podcasts or do the various other things he enjoys.
(Ok, so this is a very vague and bad description, maybe I will write a good one someday...)
