Good tip. I have the older 840M in an Asus, which is also overclockable with the maximum 135 MHz with no issues, which should put it on par with the newer 940M (not MX). The VRAM (DDR3) is considerably more sensitive though. I can reach a relatively meaningless 100 MHz above stock. How about you guys with the 9X0MX GPUs?
Sorry about the very late reply. I missed your comment at the time. The trial version of Acronis did work at the time, and no, I don't work for Acronis nor try to sell their products (or any products) in this Instructable. It is now updated with the Acronis link removed.
Thanks for pointing this out (again) and sorry to waste your time. I haven't been active for quite some time and have totally missed that Acronis no longer offers this option. The guide has now been updated with a free alternative that actually works.
