Regarding ESD and wrist straps, After 30 years in the business I found that most ESD damage is subtle not catastrophic. Intermittent problems may occur for unknown reasons and many times results from ESD weakening of certain components. Nothing worse than an intermittent beast. Use a wrist strap.

How to Overclock Your Laptop's Graphics Card
Sorry about the very late reply. I missed your comment at the time. The trial version of Acronis did work at the time, and no, I don't work for Acronis nor try to sell their products (or any products) in this Instructable. It is now updated with the Acronis link removed.
Thanks for pointing this out (again) and sorry to waste your time. I haven't been active for quite some time and have totally missed that Acronis no longer offers this option. The guide has now been updated with a free alternative that actually works.
Why is instructables allowing this to remain up? As cyrasystems pointed out TWO YEARS AGO, Acronis does NOT let you clone your hard drive with its trial software. Thanks to "Gazook" and instructables for wasting our time.
