About Where to start... I get bored and reach for either a soldering iron or a keyboard. I have a short attention span. I love working with electronics, eating pizza, and making all sorts of things. I've been busy in the last few years finding my place in life, but with a lot of perseverance and an equal amount of stress, I'm still here. I like dubstep and Honda Accords, I have an Arduino Uno, plenty of ideas, and just enough time in my work week to flesh them out. New projects will be on the way!
Hello, and welcome to Instructables! I have realized that you did not receive a greeting from ewilhelm (Eric) or the Instructables Robot, so here you go! I do NOT work for Instructables, but I give out greetings once in a while and help people on Instructables.
Welcome again, and just have fun here.
If you have any questions, you can contact the Instructables staff, or me. If you do not know who they are, you can check them out here. Just click on one of the accounts at the link I just gave you (somebody in the Instructables Team/ Interns/ Advisors) and ask them in a private message or comment. You can click here for a guided tour of Instructables, or click here for an Instructable about how to make your own Instructable. You can ask me about anything on this website, how to change your profile avatar icon, posting Instructables, anything! I'll be here for you.
Thanks! If you thought that one was hard, don't ask me how to make the one I'm making now... It should be as detailed as the Halo 3 one. And it's a killer on the sanding hands.
No, I mean a fully wearable one, with all the visible detail from the Halo 3 game. It uses pepakura, just like the instructable, but I plan to use hot glue and cardboard in place of the fiberglass/resin. I also plan to post an Instructable. :D
What a great instructable. One question though. How do you come up with the " scale of the current piece you are working on?" It's probably obvious, but I'm a tad lost on that. Thanks!
You get the scale of the current pepakura piece by going to "scale development up/down by specifying number", and noting the number in the bottom blank.
