So far I've decided to go with a RepRap style 3D printer, I purchased a set of printed parts and thats about as far as I have gone. Its still on my list of things to, but it was recently moved down the list when college started back up.
Ah, good luck with that, The hardest part of it is getting the printed pieces, next you only need the extruder
