    Growing the Carolina Reaper

I have a Carolina reaper plant in the corner of my 10th story apartment window that is just now, to my amazement, sprouting peppers in late January. I sprouted these seeds last March(in my window), transplanted to a 3 gal pot by May and had a gorgeous 2 foot tall plant by August, still in the same window. Come October there is still no sign of any fruit, just an abundance of the little white flowers that seemed to have been falling off and re sprouting every week. I basically kept watering this plant as a house plant expecting it to die rather quickly except this plant never showed any sign of stopping growing. I have pruned this plant quite aggressively since then due to shear volume and a couple cases of spider mites but it hasn't seemed to lose any steam, except for all the little white flowers constantly on my flower it has been producing since last summer. I went to water her two days ago and I was blown away to find about 7 healthy peppers about half an inch in length, almost a year later! I had lost complete faith in this plant ever producing anything but because it always looked so healthy I couldn't possibly just kill it, and I'm glad I didnt! I don't know anything about growing peppers but this is my experience and if I could gain anything from it Id say as long as your plant looks healthy and is growing then just give it time!
