About
For a long time I have been into custom painting different things.

One day I decided that I wanted to paint my Xbox 360 controller and I did not know how to even start this process. After researching online, I realize that there were no tutorials online that explained how to do this.

So I decided that it was my mission to educate the world on this subject and write up step-by-step tutorials and make videos of the entire how-to process.

After I started into the process, I realized that there are several different ways to paint a controller, and each one has different pros and cons. Therefore, I have tried to layout the best way to accomplish this and show everyone how to paint the controller they have always wanted!

As I got better at painting, I realized this could be a business. So the techniques that we discuss are the same techniques that MyCustomXbox uses to paint our professional controllers. We only keep one secret, the paint that we use.

I promise that if you watch the videos on this page and even get the printable directions, anyone can customize their Xbox 360 controller and have an end result that all your friends will be jealous of!

If I have missed anything, please let me know! I have a group of people helping me with this and we want to make sure that we help anyone that wants to, is able to paint their controller! (Plus, you earn more achievement points with a customized controller :) )

If you use this Instructable to help you make a controller, please send us a picture or two - controllers@MyCustomXbox.com! We would love to see what you can do with the information.

Thanks for visiting, and remember, Everyone Should Know How To Paint an Xbox 360 Controller!

Hello! Welcome to Instructables!

I am the Instructables Robot. My job is to alert you whenever someone leaves you a comment or sends you a private message. I spend most of my day sending email. I like sending email.

You probably want to upload an image to your profile. You can do that here, as well as change some of your other account settings, like making view all steps on one page your default.

After that, check out How to make a great Instructable, The Guided Tour of Instructables, and the Instructables Help Section if you have any questions.

Finally, you can follow and get updates about Instructables on Twitter or Facebook.
