I built one to shoot outdoors with and it's great. I had to mod it a bit. I had to take out the bar on the middle to fit my camera w/mic. Also I added a small tripod head so we can switch from the fig rig to a regular tripod if need be. Here are some pics of it. Again thanks for the idea...
