Hanging Guitar Stand
The stain is Minwax wood finish oil based stain applied with a sponge brush and cloth wiped (2x). I believe the color is espresso. For the finish I used 2 coats of Minwax Fast Dry Polyurethane in semi-gloss. I added an additional coat of poly for the shelf bottoms as those would take the most wear from the shoes, dirt, water, etc.
I used a maple plywood. It took about 5 weekends (stain and poly was 2 weekends) and roughly $300.
What brand and color stain and what sheen of poly did you use?
Sorry, I know this was long overdue but I finally had a chance to update the steps with descriptions. Questions, let me know!
