About
I am a high voltage experimenter and I have a very supporting family and not many friends. What friends I do have are usually not around when I want them to be, but, oh well.

I've been working on my Tesla Coil for a little while, now, and I'm very interested in Nikola Tesla's work and vision. I don't have a very strong understanding of electronics, at the moment; however I am learning the basics and I understand what the individual components do and how they work. I simply need to learn how to put it all together and I need to learn to read schematics.

I don't have much money, so any donations (available at my website) would be appreciated greatly.

Thank You.

Dear Chris, My name is Kyle Loomis and I understand that you like to build Tesla Coils and that you are making one. It seems that you need some help on building yours. Although I am not perfect I may be able to help. You seem like a nice person and we have some of the same interests. I like building Tesla Coils and you like to build Tesla Coils. Although I live in Avon, Ohio and you live in Salem, Oregon. I think that it would be nice to put our heads together and trade ideas. If you are interested in this feel free to contact me. My Email Address is jtmotz@hotmail.com

We're actually collaborating on his Tesla Coil Instructable, and I have already built a small Tesla Coil, and I am now working on a larger one. Chris and I together are working on plans for a Solid State Tesla Coil, and have bigger plans for that itself.

Hello! Welcome to Instructables!

I am the Instructables Robot. My job is to alert you whenever someone leaves you a comment or sends you a private message. I spend most of my day sending email. I like sending email.

You probably want to upload an image to your profile. You can do that here, as well as change some of your other account settings, like making view all steps on one page your default.

After that, check out How to make a great Instructable, The Guided Tour of Instructables, and the Help Group if you have any questions.

Hello Chriskarr,
And welcome to www.Instructables.com!

I'm Dr. Cool, but you can call me Alex. I have been to Instructables for quite some time now, and I know my way around pretty well. My job is to make sure you know how to navigate around Instructables.

Unlike the "Instructables Robot" I can personally answer all of your questions. So don't be afraid to ask! The people here are both nice and friendly so you can pretty much ask anyone for help.

I recommend you take a look at this Instructable it has ALL of the information you need to be a Instructables Pro! And remember if you need anything I am just a click away!
