thx ive made hydrosols of sage, mint, jasmine, and rosemary so far and they are pretty good no need to use fossil fuels and other silliness keep me posted please on your progress XOXOXO
Thanks Cheese Queen, I have revised the original post. It seems that 170 degrees sustained for over 10 minutes will kill Salmonella, which this cooker can achieve, and I have indicated that above as well as the need to take temperature readings. Appreciate your concern, and you have helped alert me to this possibility, which should always be considered when cooking with eggs and dairy..
Thank you cheese queen, I am revising this post as I have heard this concern from others, too. I will remove any discussion of long term storage, and urge that this solar brulee be eaten after cooking, or immediately refrigerated, with respect to concerns about salmonella incubation. I appreciate your input. Going to edit this now. XOXOXO.
