Thank you so much for sharing your recipe customization and pics!You've inspired me to make bread again. I recently got a job and thought I didn't have time.... I'll make time. :)
okay here's what I did. I doubled the sweetener and used organic sugar instead of honey. I cut the salt in half and up the recipe so it would make 8 loaves, we eat a lot of bread in my family. However I weighed them so they were about a pound each so I got 7 loaves. GOOD GOD I have NEVER made a loaf of bread that could truly compare to a store bought French loaf. This? This is 1000 times better. So worth the effort!
Sorry it was too salty for you. I've found that if it doesn't rise enough the salt taste is intensified.
has far too much salt, I'd cut the salt in half and up the sweetness. Though the sweetness may have been covered up by all the salt.
