I started thev16/8 and it worked great. I Lost 40 pounds, Until I started drinking again. But now I'm back and going strong. The onev thing that worked great for me was when a friend (personal trainer) said do a calorie calculations for your activity level and your goal weight. Eat those calories in your eating window and you will eventually drop to that weight. I am hypothyroid and have not had any issues. The first 2 weeks are tough. You are hungry all the time. You can feel you body go into high gear in the mornings. But a cup of coffee and lots of water and I'm fine. Any questions, just c ask. There are lots of good books on it too.
