About:Gabriel’s work explores the intersection between ecology, infrastructure, art, and society. His investigations range from the detail to regional scale, often employing mapping, making, and narrative. Ongoing topics include the relationship between the city and nature, the way in which we use our land, and what this means about our culture. Gabriel obtained his B.Arch from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and a dual Master of Architecture and City Planning from UC Berkeley. He is currently an Artist-in-Resident at Autodesk's Pier 9 Workshop.
