Hello! Interesting thoughts on headlight rejuvenation. I've been using ultra-fine (1000+) emery cloth, the waterproof type, for years. Before starting, soak the emery cloth in water for a few hours - the emery cloth conforms much better to the lens surface when it's really wet. I also use a medium-stiff synthetic sponge as a backer for the sponge, if there is room - it helps prevent ridges. I always use soapy water, LOTS of it (about an ounce of soap per cup of water.) It helps the fine grit do it's work by removing particles that might tend to clog the grit. Keep it very wet while sanding, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a low heat air gun before painting or waxing!I've been using extra-fine emerory paper.cloth ofr years
Nice project and I enjoyed the video = perfect length! Should you decide to repeat, may I suggest a skiff-type boat? A flat bottom boat can be very stable.
