Eerie glowing jars!
/begin science explanationIf you want to know why that works, it's because all "glow in the dark" items work through the process of phosphorescence, where an item absorbs light and then slowly releases it. So if you use UV (black light) as the original, it's very high energy, and when the light is released, it's very bright (we can see the light that is released, unlike the black light itself, because the process shifts the light from the UV range to the visible)/end science explanationI'm going to make this for when I teach phosphorescence in class. Thanks for the great instructable!
