About:I'm a lifelong maker, innovator & inventor, as well as being qualified & certified as: Auto Mechanic, Electrician, HVAC & Facilities Engineer, Project Manager, Telecommunications Engineer, Federal Government Procurement Expert and SCUBA Diver. **At my age, there isn't a whole lot in technology, business or society that I have not become a humble expert in and I have to work very hard to balance my online reading & research with actually getting things done - like the restoration of my '67 Mustang convertible, which should finally be finished next spring. **Maybe that should be my first Instructable!? **I'm also attempting to convert a surplus laboratory "liquid handling system" that I believe is going to be a successful re-use and conversion to a 3D printer with 20 micron accuracy in all 3 planes. That was supposed to be my first Instructable and it should be quickly developed this winter. It is entirely budget-driven and the original machine cost over $100K but I got it for less than $100, and it already features professional-grade actuators, motors and sensors, plus a multichannel controller that manipulates 6 liquid sources with pneumatic, electrical and physical motion with digital controller accuracy. **Watch this space!
