Sorry for the late reply! Didn't see this before. The pipe pieces were about $120, paint approx. $12, stain approx. $12, and polyurethane $8. The workbench top was $200. You can go pretty cheap on the desk surface if you don't want something that looks like butcher block.
Looks great! Fun project from a fantastic show!

Those look great! I'm a fan of the black hardware against the natural wood.

How to Make Log Ends Perfectly Flat & Parallel
Fun project! Maybe I missed it, but did you seal the wood? With so much moisture around the top of a fish tank it would prevent mold.

Those look great! Also, never been so amused while reading an instructable. Fun gifs!

I like the look of having the bolt heads show on the top. Something to consider is pre-painting the joining brackets and staining the wood before you join the pieces. Requires a little more caution in the rest of the built, but adds to the finished look.
Nice to see someone enclose their hardware and not have a mess of hardware and components.
Wooden Jet Plane
Fun light for a garage or man cave. Don't have any welding skills, but always wanted to make a chain lamp with the chains curving in a double helix. Perhaps you can show us how it would be done. ;-)
Cool looking! Can you apply this to large surface areas, like a desk or counter top? Would be cool to see it on a finished cutting board or coffee table.
Clever! Saw a similar concept in the critical care section of a hospital, where a series of red lights got brighter if staff were talking too loud in the hall.
Looks fantastic! Quite jealous!

Fun project! Forget the kid's room, I want one in my office!
Making an Airplane Shelf for Kids Bedroom
Found a picture. PVC, with 3/16" piece of acrylic for the tray, sealed around the inside with 100% silicone in case she spilled. Debating different materials for when it's time to make a new one. If you have ideas, they are welcomed!
Nice way to use technology to help him do things other little boys get to do! Built a tray that fits on to my niece's wheelchair, but didn't think about making it scalable so it's still functional as they adjust the chair for her growth. Have you thought of using spandex on the handles, that are adjustable via velcro, so he can put them on himself, they are snug enough to be useful, but will grow with him?
Cool idea for knobs! I like the herringbone pattern.
Nicely done! I like the opposing boards on the top to add some character and break the monotony. Based on what else I see in the picture, my vote is to use some poly and keep it looking as natural as possible!
A pen holder - genius. Why didn't I think of that?! Nicely done!
French Cleat Wall
Thanks! Debated making it out of some scrap conduit boxes, but really liked the look of the white oak.
What a fantastic job! Got a kick out of the stories in your steps!!!
Nice look! I like the raised edge around the outside. Garage sales are great for $0.50 frames with precut glass.

Quick and simple. I like! Need to make some for a project idea.
Simple Corner Clamp Jig
Just follow the rhyme “Wood squished is strong, stretched is weak, so double your braces to keep strength at its peak.” This is why I screw the top and bottom with four screws and into two pieces of wood.
Nice use of an old fence! Looks like it can stand up to a lot of standing.
Made a separate one for my phone, like you described, with a slot for the cable to connect from below. That one is for my desk, when the phone is in use. This one only needs to hold the phone at night.
French Cleat Workshop Organization
This has inspired me! A fan of having a shelf system that allows me to rearrange as needed.
Nice job on the faux wood treatment! Looks great!
Love the time-lapse! I'm curious, what was the reason for having the frame go above the top shelf? Did the frame from the lower 2/3 not provide enough stability?
In my case, I have pictures of every wall and ceiling before it was sheetrocked. That made it easy to find proper places for securing to the wall and ceiling.
Visio is a great tool as well! I find it handy when planning projects that involve wiring.
Always nice to get stuff off the floor so it’s easier to move things around!
Planning to use that space down the road as well! I can put deeper shelves over the doors, but didn’t need the space yet.
Love the look! We have an old and worn coffee table. Planning to do a pallet board wrap and this gives me a good idea for a pattern
