These are great instructions and I was very happy with the final result! I used those wafers as spikes because I liked the whimsical pink and threw in candy corn horns. My guests were delighted with this fun cake!
I made this cake for my daughter's first birthday party. The instructions were easy to follow. We did a crumb layer of frosting in green and then piped on the purple frosting. I used watermelon gummy candies for the claws and small peanutbutter cups for the nostrils.
I loved making this! We used fondant for the spikes. Had a little trouble getting the wings to stay up, so we used plastic forks with the handle cut off to support them like little hidden pitchforks. I'm really happy with the way it turned out--thank you!
Thank you for the piecing directions. Here is my Red Dragon for a Vietnamese New Year's party. Frosting is a total of three bottles of rose red Betty Crocker cupcake icing, using leaf tip.
48 Hours later and he is complete! I could not have done it without your lovely instructions. Thanks so much :)
