I agree with you, yet another nice method. In my experience it will fail at more layered pcb. The pcb will burn before the heat reaches the top solder layer on the other side. I've tried to harvest some plugging connectors with heat gun or flame. At least the pcb burned out and the legs became too hot and melt the connector case.My final solution was to cut the pcb around the part with a cutting disc on a dremel and then cut between the legs. Then I resoldered the chunks separately. At least it requires to wear safety googles and run a vac while cutting.

I recently tested it with 1microFarad that is a bit more than 0.47 microFarad that was recommended in this article. It works well. I wouldn't recommend too high capacity of the capacicator because ever trigger of the switch shorts the saved current in the cap. High capacity means high power short that wears out the contacts earlier.
Very impressive and well done! Can you move it without a forklifter? Seems to be very heavy.

Very helpful. I also thought about rewiring/shielded cable or inverting to NC.I am relative new to Grbl-CNC but limit switch issues seems to be the plague. Before i read your contribution i added non-polar caps to ground. No real success. It only needs to switch the vac to trigger the limits. I ll try now caps with polarity..
End Stop / Limit Switch Problems
Very well description. I also converted a china 4030 router to arduino and these drivers. I read that it wont kill the driver due a mistaking wiring of the motor. All that happens seems to be strange behavior or noises. It also seems the driver is proofe against short circuits. Never the less i can add one warning due my own experience. I killed some drivers by loosing the contact or one wire to the motors. So it's very important to have the motors secure and well connected. This point is not protected by the driver.

Do i see it right, that every of the 4 batteries has to be charged/uncharged separately? Wouldn't it make sense to connect the micro USB ports parallel? While charging powered with parallel usb ports, every battery will be save and a balancing is not needed because of it's separate electronic. The only question which stays, is if the batterys will drain each other in standby through the paralell electronics?
Nice instruction for diy fixing. As A/C technican I had to note, that not only a clogged drain tub will lead into dew dripping. Also the drain tube itself will clog with alagea or the drain tub can get a crack an gets leaky..
3D Printed Voltage Regulator Circuit like PCB Circuit
Interesting and maybe a step to the real printed circuit. I wonder if the circuit will get contact corrosion at the gaps between the parts legs and the printing material. I assume due the lack of solder those gaps could behave like a battery together with humidity and could corrode. In my experience the low voltage stuff mostly fails because of a unwanted "resistor" with a few ohms ;-)Anyway, keep on developing it!
