Prying Tool for Electronics
Just bought 12 dozen thin (.46 mm) guitar picks from Sam Ash in NYC:http://www.samash.com/picks/sam-ash-celluloid-351-...Tested them quickly back at the office and the picks were able to fit between the screen bezel and top cover of a laptop. Thank you - great idea!

You're welcome! Please let me know how it goes and if you have any improvements.
Thank you! I never thought of using it for art pieces, but it would be good for it. I may use it more for writing names on wood items that I build.

Curious...but would it work well as a hammer?
If you don't like my Instructable, don't look it.
Thank you for your kind words GreenAvenger! Very wise indeed. You have added a tremendous amount of insight I didn't even consider!

It is much lighter, particularly when going out into the field.
An excellent philosophy to live by! :-)

Please note that your statements are incorrect. The Cease and Desist Letter does not say that the person has been convicted of any crime. It notes that their *behavior* is in violation of criminal laws. This is not libel. It is noting that their actions are against the law, informing the perpetrator of that fact and alerting the police to that fact as well. A person can be in violation of a law without being convicted. Libel and defamation is only for public declarations. Sending the perpetrator a private letter and a private letter to the police does not qualify as public. Citizens have the absolute right to identify behavior that is violating their rights and request that the person cease contact with them.

It is worth a try with regards to him yelling at you from his window. You may want to send a copy to the local police dept as well. It might be best to leave the driveway incident out of it for now.
Good points. With regards to the adhesive, I did not have the time. I had to build the platform in my apartment, bring it down to the pizzaria and the 2x3s on the subway, then assemble it at the pizzaria within a few hours. The metal brackets would be good, particularly a 90 degree one on the platform. The owners wanted a completely clean and smooth platform, so I had to forgo using them. But perhaps on Version 2!
Can you waterproof it?
Sounds like a great idea. Maybe waterproofing the cardboard would help to make the structural integrity stronger.

When we were testing it, we in fact had some concerns about the 2 butt joints that are attaching the vertical supports to the platform. I put in about 10 to 12 T20 screws into each 2x3, and we were still getting a bit of flex in the joint. We did a quick test with a case of bottles water and it seemed to hold. But you are right, the real test will come when they load it up with 10 pizza pies and a case of soda, which would be pushing about 120 lbs. If it fails we will do a redesign from the ground up.
Interesting idea! Maybe construction adhesive for metals would work?
Thank you! Your cardboard incubator sounds like a great idea. Will it be for plants?
The cardboard henhouse should be workable. A few glued layers of cardboard should provide good structural integrity to it.

Interesting idea. When you say tape on the inside, you mean sticky side on the inside of the pipe insulation?
