    Hi Kepp, Thankyou for responding. I made the changes suggested by you in my program but it's still not working and it keeps "looking for image" in the command prompt window. Also the LED becomes low only after a period of 4-5 minutes. I think its not working since the java program aims to find and store an image whereas the arduino program first checks for PIR input HIGH. Since I am not familiar with Java language, I am unable to make any changes in SimpleRead. I have tried all possible if and for loops in the arduino program, could you suggest any changes in the Java program that would help me?

    Hi Kepp, thank-you so much for the assistance, this code works perfectly but the images are a little blur. Based on the past comments I've been trying to manipulate the (0x11,11) statement, but its not making any difference. Also, my project requires the camera to work along with a PIR sensor, i.e, the camera must capture only when the sensor output is HIGH. Since I am not familiar with JAVA language, I made a few changes in the Arduino IDE's loop, but its not working. i am pasting the loop() of Arduino's IDE, Please do let me know if you have any suggestions.
