We've used it quite a lot in the last year, and it really performs well. It wraps tightly around the waist area and it's quite unnoticeable!

This is great! Thanks a lot. It seems that adding a tin foil shield around the board and a low pass filter to remove noise from the power supply improve range as well.http://blog.blackoise.de/2016/02/fixing-your-cheap...I haven't tried yet though!

I'm more terrified by spiders! :)
View Instructable »That's actually a good point, we used string because we had some lying around. I would say using elastic cord would be a neat solution but you may have problems getting in there and it may be more difficult to adjust tight to your body: winter sleeping bags can be quite bulky, or if you decide to put a sleeping mat inside the bivvy bag, etc!

Absolutely! Something else I though about was adding extra LED's to the corners of the handlebar so that incoming vehicles see the blinkers as well.

Hi, i've never tried that fabric so cannot tell, but I've slept many nights using the bugnet described in the instructs let and it's very light and odour free. Keeping it away from your face (wear a cap) will probably help as well! Good luck
