@jcoronёll escobar that looks amazing!! Nice touch with the paint/stain, especially around the edges. Well done indeed!
Thank you @plasticvicar for sharing such an awesome instructable. Couldn´t have more fun building my fish.I used 18mm pine plywood and a PVC pipe used for high pressure water flow (very resistant though cost me twice as much as the regular one).I wanted both a rail-to-rail and nose-to-tail balance boards and @brunswick27 idea worked as inspiration to have it both ways. Have a look at what I ended up coming up with...
Awesome project! I had a lot of fun making the fish! Happy surfing!
Excellent. Thanks very much. I liked the fish template. Ended up with a few chips round the edge from sawing, so sanded down to the next layer. I think it looks OK. Makes the fish tail stand out more. Used 12mm ply, as that's what I could get. It is OK with the roller lengthways, but I would definitely use thicker wood if making again. Sanding the outside of the pipe gave it a little more grip and got rid of the printing.
