Good on you. Technically, if someone calls you a nerd, they are acknowledging your intellectual superiority over them. More people should say 'I am a nerd and proud'.

No, I used to. 4 years ago. I think this photo was awsome, so I kept it. Abusing a dog won't make it learn.
