We made this the weekend before Halloween and wanted to make sure we had something creepy for the kids to walk over. Had I made it earlier in the month, sound would totally have been added. The motion trigger idea is great!!
looking at a western haunt this year and home depot did a similar thing but not motion activated. going to get my hands on a few more skulls and so I will attempt this as I am pretty good with LEDs!! Great project!!
I am doing a western theme next year and plan on having a gallows, I was going to put in the back of the yard sorta hidden but I might just have to do this project!! Thanks!! I don't do air props so a motor driven is more my style!!
Thanks!! Just wait till you see my Western Town next year!! follow along on FB on Scare Hollow and youtube as well
Right!!! it looks amazing!!! Yeah the hearse was fun to build and only took me about 1 hour to put together this year. I have an instructable on how to make that too.
the fog would still go to the path of least resistance which would be down the length of the pallets. it would seep out of any of the gaps first and then the bulk would travel down the pallets. I assume you mean take a pallet and cut it in half leaving one end board the middle board. They actually make pallets that are narrower than standard ones and i get them at my work all the time. See the pallets on the right, those are only about 28" wide i think, and 48" long.
Thank you, I love Halloween and it keeps me creative!!!
