Thank you so much for posting this!! Like you I was looking to make a wooden niddy noddy (the idea of using pvc pipe was cringeworthy) but wasn't sure I could do it with just the tools from around the house. I saw your post and decided to have a go. It's not as beautful as yours (I love the idea of using reclaimed timber), I used strip pine wood from B&Q costing about 4pounds in all. Took me about 4 hours to make. Have used it to skein my first handspun yarn!!Thank you again - inspirational!!
