About
I’ve been crocheting since my grandmother taught me when I was 9. I also quilt and make soap (but not as often).

In addition to working full time in the non-profit sector, I’m also the Proprietress of the Underground Crafter. I’m a Craft Yarn Council of America Certified Crochet Instructor (Level I) and Certified Crochet Teacher (Level II). I specialize in teaching individual and small group crochet classes for beginner and intermediate students.

Check out my website at www.undergroundcrafter.com or visit my Etsy shop at undergroundcrafter.etsy.com. My Ravelry ID is marieinnyc.
