About:Recently hired (Dec. 2014) as a mechanical design engineer in Industrial Gas Turbines. Until May 2014, I was an engineering student in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, researching data center energy efficiency and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) grid refinement, and teaching aerospace design, CFD, and finite element analysis (FEA) courses as a teaching assistant. Part geologist in there, too. Jack-of-all-trades is my goal. I've learned a good chunk of carpentry, plumbing, and wiring out of necessity, landscaping, exterior design, and interior design for sakes' sake, cooking out of hunger (woks ahoy!), and video game development out of boredom. If it has a manual, or vague instructions, or an obvious way to take it apart (or not...hammer and chisel always works), I can learn it, fix it, or improve* it. *DISCLAIMER: Bursting into flame may be a design feature**. **SECONDARY DISCLAIMER: If it isn't an intended design feature, but looks cool and doesn't cause irreparable damage to any vital organs / systems...then it was totally an intended design feature.
