    First off, thanks for this recipe, it is the best I've seen anywhere online!I've made this recipe the past several years to go in my Christmas candy baskets for family and friends. When I make candy recipes for Christmas I always double them because I need a lot to give away. The first year I used this recipe I did exactly that... Two words: Mis. Take. This recipe makes a crapload of cherry mash! Don't get me wrong, everyone loved it and appreciated having so much to enjoy and share, but I have to repeat; doubling this recipe makes a _lot_ of candy. If you're making this just for you and a couple of family members you could easily get away with halving this.
