Can you tell me what's wrong? or that is kinda common to run that slow? and I feel it kinda buzz a little bit than run smoothly, even though I am sure about the motor wiring. maybe about 75%? haha.. So.. even I have kcam4, I confuse how to make this thing run, what software to use etc, can you tell me yours? hope you can answer my Q. thanks John.

Hi meg, hows it coming along? What bulbs are you using? what power supply are you using? I'm using Mach3 controller software. I never did get kcam to work properly. The buzzing sounds to be sometimes and sometimes not so I'm guessing you have the velocity and accelleration set to high for the power your producing. Ha ve you built the machine part yet?.

ok, so at 12v and 11 watts, your running that 3 amp motor at just under 1 amp, this will make it run slow and be weak. you can increase the amps by using say 2 of those bulbs in parallel. mach3 can be very complicated to set up.

all drivers seems to have a little different setup as to which port and pin works what drive axis and function.
I found that my z axis was the slowest and I guess thats normal, while the others are moving the table around, the z has to raise and lower the router so it will by necessity require the most torque.

you will get the Mach 3 Demo until you pay them the money and recieve a key type thingy, in the mean time its fully functional but limited to not more than I think 500 lines of g code
as long as you installed the port driver when you installed mach it should be working, you can test any of the direction signals straight off the parallel cable with a volt meter.

one thing that came to mind for me was the need to specify port for every pin defined, like another colum to each setting row.. if you know what I mean.
