hey John, Meg here, since you are already finished your cnc by using tom's driver, I have couple of question here. I've built my own, it works, but somehow it runs soooo slow. and by look at tom's video, I pretty much sure that mine is slower. I'm using motor from copy machine, 1.8 deg and DC 3A. I have no idea how big the input that things need, so I go save just put on 12V. Can you tell me what's wrong? or that is kinda common to run that slow? and I feel it kinda buzz a little bit than run smoothly, even though I am sure about the motor wiring. maybe about 75%? haha.. So.. even I have kcam4, I confuse how to make this thing run, what software to use etc, can you tell me yours? hope you can answer my Q. thanks John.

hey, John! :)
I'm using 12V, 11watt bulbs, the power supply runs at various rate 3,6,7.5,9, and 12V, 5Amps. yes, in progress on mounting z now, cannot find the way to mounting it so it'll strong enough to travel up and down. any idea, John? I've tried using Mach3, but I don't even understand how to using it, (ughh stupid me). so one day I tried to using mach3, but I realize that Tom's driver has it own setup to every axis's step, dir (I mean for ex the x-step pin 2, x-dir pin 3, and so on), but after I set it under config-port and pin, the motor won't run.

definitely have to double or triple my bulbs! you know what, I found that my mach3 display is little bit different from others, when the others get "Mach3 CNC Controller" on the upper-left side of windows, I only get "Mach3 Demo", does it causing my failure using Mach3?
Can you tell me your setup for mach 3? After I tried several times, still can't get the motors running on mach3. thanks John.
