New Power Supply Build, Reached Some Problems and Need Some Help.

Hi, So I'm building a power supply, case is done, I've got one output of 35v 10 amps, I'm trying to add an adjustable 1.5 to 24v 5 amp but I can not seem to get it to work, I'm using the lm338t adj v-reg, and have tryed several different set ups from simple to complex, and nothing seems to work, the closest I'm getting in 1.5 to 24v 1.8 amps. with the more complex ones i'm not even getting power through.
