Breakfast to Go
Intro: Breakfast to Go
Not everyone can enjoy a healthy breakfast seated at the kitchen table. This is a quick trick for those who need to eat on the run.
STEP 1: What You Need
You will need:
A bowl of cereal,
A cup of milk,
One banana,
One Straw,
A funnel,
A knife,
and A cutting board
A bowl of cereal,
A cup of milk,
One banana,
One Straw,
A funnel,
A knife,
and A cutting board
STEP 2: Chop the Top
For this step, simply cut the top off the banana using the knife and cutting board.
STEP 3: Drill the Core
Using the straw, hollow out the banana. Be sure to leave enough of the banana walls to hold milk and cereal. If you puncture the sides, you must start over.
STEP 4: Banana Pump
If you hollow out the banana correctly, the unneeded parts of the fruit will feed nicely through the top of the straw.
STEP 5: Fill'er Up
Insert the funnel into the hollowed part of the banana. Add the cereal.
STEP 6: Add the Calcium
Now pour in the milk. Not for the lactose intolerant.
STEP 7: Eat and Run
Peel and eat. Now you have plenty of time to monkey around at work.

Awesome idea! I've put bananas in my cereal since childhood but never thought to put the cereal in the banana! And this is so much healthier because you get more banana and less cereal. I might go with oatmeal or granola.

Think of the other things you could put in there... PB, chocolate, strawberries or blueberries. OMG yum!

You could put anything in the banana as long as it pours. My husband and I wondered if you could put juice in then freeze it! Something kids would like
Another idea we had was mixing melted carob, peanut butter and rice crisps then piping it in! YUM. Thanks for this awesome idea!

I guess this was the motivation for KFC's "Double Down" (FOr those who don't know what that is, it is basically bacon, cheese, and sauce sandwiched by two pieces of Kentucky fried chicken.)
