Intro: Cream Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms

This is the easiest recipe and they taste so amazing you will look like a five star chef!

STEP 1: What You Will Need

You will need
  • Some mushrooms
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • TBS of chopped green onions
  • 1/2 a cup of real bacon crumbles
  • 1/4 tsp of garlic powder
  • grapefruit spoon if you happen to have one

STEP 2: Making the Stuffing

Grab a bowl and lets get started! Your cream cheese will need to be softened for easier mixing. In your bowl mix together the cream cheese, garlic powder,  onions, and bacon. Then with a fork or your favorite mixing tool mix all together really good.

STEP 3: Preparing and Stuffing the Mushrooms

Now you will need make sure your mushroom are a clean and cut out all the stems off your mushrooms. I have found that a grapefruit spoon works wonders for this task. The serrated edges are great for cutting while the spoon scoops. After you have achieved this you will begin filling your mushroom with the cream cheese mixture. Desired amount is up to you. This recipe will fill approximately 12-18 large mushrooms. Now you will need to place them in the oven on broil on high for about 6-8 minutes or until heated all the way through.

STEP 4: Viola!

After 6-8 minutes remove from the oven and I urge with caution that you give it a few minutes before you go popping one in your mouth. They will be hot like molten lava inside! Serve as an appetizer or snack or side dish.

I made these Sunday..OMG!! Just like my mom used to make. Thanks for bringing back some good memories :-)

I tried these and they were great! I did, however, take the stems from the mushrooms and dice them finely to mix in with the filling. Good stuff.
I am making this! Thanks so much for sharing!

These are SO good! Great party food! :)
They are soooo good, sad thing is I am the only one in my house that will eat mushrooms so I end up eating them all my self. Then I feel like a glutton!
Stuffing foods in other foods is always delicious! Awesome job :)
