Intro: Embellished Sunglasses

One of the most important summer essentials in any wardrobe is a pair of decent sunglasses. This method is a perfect, incredibly simple way to spruce up a pair of old glasses, creating an intricate, beautiful look from what are in reality just a pair of cheap plastic shades.

For this project, you will need:

  • A pair of sunglasses
  • Some metal jewellery findings
  • Strong glue (I used 2 part epoxy glue)

STEP 1: Cut the Jewellery Findings

Cut your jewellery findings to fit the lenses of your glasses. I also cut pieces to fit on the sides of the frames for extra decoration.

STEP 2: Glue

Arrange your findings as you please and glue them on. Ensure that they are secured properly and leave them to dry for the amount of time specified by the glue brand.

This looks excellent. If you're going to wear these while driving, you might focus on embellishing the outer borders of the lenses.
