It is a great pity that some idiots cannot see a knife as a very useful tool. People are much too easily influenced by the media spewing forth a stream of ill founded nonsense about "knife crime" .

You did a great job mate. Doing the best with what you have is an achievement on itself. Keep on working with basic tools - if you can do it with nothing, you'll be a pro with decent tools later. Congrats.
Thanks for the support. You are right about the generalizing teens thing, but i don't think it's purely parents fault, some great people came from bad families, and the other way around. But thanks again, and i do hope to get some decent tools in the future.
My parents are great, and behind me 100%, i just like doing things on my own, even if it means the outcome isn't always perfect. Yes some teenagers i know are like that, but some aren't most where i'm from like to work with our hands. But thank you for the input, and the videos are helpful.
Stop generalising & playing the easy judge on teenagers. Most teens just don't have another choice than 'doing nothing' like you write. Do you know many parents who take & make really time to spend with their kids? To give them the opportunities to 'do something constructive'? Those kids are not to blame, but those who put them on this earth...
Very very good for your first . My first knife was not nearly that good. I've been makeing knives for at least 6 years and I think u have massive potential. Keep up the good work.
hi, may i make one suggestion... you could put a small washer on the back end of your rivet and it could help hold it better and have it look like the other side more. still a good try for a beginer! keep it up :)
