Intro: How to Make a Free Energy Generator at Home

How to make a free energy generator at home without battery is an ambitious project which will have more that one part currently i am waiting for parts to improve this free energy generator in the video at the end of this tutorial you will see measurements output and all you will need to build this free energy device.Warning the output at this moment is 0.7w but it can be improved to the point that you will able to charge your phone and in the part3 you will able to run light charge a battery and charge your phone and run a radio so you will be set for any emergency power out storm or when the main will fail.

STEP 1: Thermoelectric Generator

The thermoelectric effect is the direct conversion of temperature differences to electric voltage
and vice versa. A thermoelectric device creates a voltage when there is a different temperature on each side. Conversely, when a voltage is applied to it, it creates a temperature difference. At the atomic scale, an applied temperature gradient causes charge carriers in the material to diffuse from the hot side to the cold side.

This effect can be used to generate electricity, measure temperature or change the temperature of objects. Because the direction of heating and cooling is determined by the polarity of the applied voltage, thermoelectric devices can be used as temperature controllers.

STEP 2: Parts Needed for This Free Energy Generator

Aluminium radiators

Peltier module (12706)

Candles 1£/20pieces

Metalic pen holder

0.9vDC-dc boost converter

Thermal compound

The rest is very simple just assemble the radiator with the 2 screws and put the Peltier module between them with the thermal compound on both sides.

STEP 3: The Free Energy Generator Is Almost Done

The metallic pen holder is used for suspending the radiators and providing some heat dissipation to protect the wires from overheating.To run this generator we will use tea candle which is normally 1£/20pieces so the cost of one candle is around 0.05£ and this generator can run approx 4h depending on the quality of the candle.

At this moment the output is 1.5v/0.4A after adjusting the distance from the flame to the small radiator.

And because it a small free energy generator we will need a dc=dc boost converter to step up the voltage

STEP 4: Free Energy Generator


The Seebeck effect is the conversion of heat directly into electricity at the junction of different types of wire. It is named after the Baltic German physicist Thomas Johann Seebeck,
who in 1821 discovered that a compass needle would be deflected by a closed loop formed by two different metals joined in two places, with a temperature difference between the joints.

To connect the Peltier module you have to connect first to a 12v battery and observe which side is getting cold and hot, after this we will apply heat to the hot side and the big aluminum radiator to the cold side, we can place a fan on the cold side to improve the output.

i build some instructable with peltier module.....

is a free solution to have energy totally free.....

used like hot capteur under a metallic plate,black paint and under sun you can have the same energy like solar panel without problems(rainbow passages).....

for lucrative usages,maybe is time to serch eventually solution....it's free...

That's a great idea. Build a heat collector, with black paint, so it's, say, +5C inside the container, while -10C outside... or, attach it to my window, when it's +15/20C in my house, and -15C outside. Then I could remain d'une electricity from my gas heaters. People like to say, "It's not free," but you're already paying for the initial energy anyway! Like adding wind turbines to an electric car, to lengthen the battery life...

Where do you get the free candles?

That was a trick question ;) . You can use the light from the candle for other things, like, reading, thereby justifying their acquisition. This said, high power LED radiate plenty of heat, that could be used to heat one side of the Peltier device. Of course, now you have to find a really cold "source" to establish the differential.

Ideally, you find a situation where you are generating bothersome heat while freezing your butts. Lighting up an igloo comes to mind. I am not joking, I have been camping in the Canadian Winters. Funny thing, your flashlight batteries get weak because of the cold, that would not be a problem for the Peltier devices... Slap a 10 Watts LED and a small Lithium battery pack onto a Peltier device, mount so that the Peltier to-be-cold side is out in the, well, cold... So there you are, it is possible to build something that, while not free, could be very useful, keeps the battery warm, help to keep them charged. The feeling you get out of building such things is better than free, it is priceless!

I understand the Peltier effect. In fact I have a few of them myself. With that stated, if you were to measure the inputs, be it heat or cold, and what it takes to provide those temperature differences, you are not getting FREE energy. Now they are interesting to play with, and make some neat devices, but free energy is not happening.

take in to calculation that a set of candles 20pieces are 1£ one candle is 0.05 and runs aprox 4h so the running cost per hour is 0.0125£ so very close to free energy

And if you freeze the candles beforehand, they will last even longer. And if you freeze the candles first, they will last even longer. Still, it is not free energy and has no power.

i heard about that freezing candle i will try it very close to free energy it costs 0.0125£/hour its cheap very cheap

For a tiny amount of energy. This is definitely not free energy.

these Peltier elements are 15% efficient or less. IF you could apply 100% of the energy of the flame to the Peltier, It would still use only 15% of it (best case scenario).

Since the interface between candle and Peltier is air, you're probably getting around 10% of the flame's energy applied to the Peltier. So the net efficiency is 15% of 10% of the energy of the flame of that candle.

If you stack two TECs and wire them in series, you could directly drive a 1W (350mA) LED. I have tried it, works well.
