Intro: How to Make a Cheap, Ugly, and Easy to Remove Guitar Killswitch

(sorry for my english guys) Yesterday i build this, the original idea included a nice pickward shaped base, but i made a "beta" version, ugly, and tape-attached to the original pickguard, i also made a mistake in part of the construction but i fixed it later.

STEP 1: Materials and Tools

1- a microswitch
nnnn2- a guitar jack
3- a guitar plug
4- wire
5- a plastic box (i used a 100 business card box)
6- your pickguard
7- solder iron
8- a victorinox

STEP 2: Construction

first make the holes in the boxes, with the victorinox, and place the components, first i put the plug in the box, but it probably "hurt" the guitar so i change it for a wire and plug.

STEP 3: Wiring

the wiring is very simple, the ground of the jack and plug is connected, and the channel is connected to the first and last pins of the microswitch, and thats all.

STEP 4: Modification

the original design wasnt very nice with the jack, so i changed it for a wired plug, and i attached it with tape because i dont want to glue the pickward and i dont want to build another pickguard or similar.
