Might want to find another solution other than epoxy for the top, it's clearly being heated significantly by the open flame, and may offgass the chemicals listed below into whatever room you put this lamp in.

First two are already produced by open flame, since you are burning fat some nitrogen oxides are can be produced as well. But I agree, heated/burning epoxy is nasty.
