Intro: Make a Sodahat Without Ducktape

make a soda hat that works without ducktape. have two drinks at once such as coke diet coke, Tango, Fanta, Rio,and cherry cola pretty much anything in the average size can. best of all your hat will still be a normal hat just unhook the can holders!!!

STEP 1: WHAT YOU NEED

You will need a helmet, two lengths of tubing roughly from your mouth to halfway up the helmet, two soup cans (washed out), 2 strips of metal about 2cm wide, a large pair of pliers, a hammer, a hacksaw Pipe clips for fastening the tubing.
That's it!

STEP 2: Cut the Cans

Hold your can tightly. Get your hacksaw a cut a slit in the can about 3cm long repeat with can 2

STEP 3: Bend Them Flat

next find a thin but not to thin srip of anything i used a peice of circuit board.place on to the strip of metal anbend the tab you just made flat over it. take the srip of something out. repeat with the other srip then check that they still fit trough the silt with the tab vertical.

STEP 4: The N Is Completed

wonder why this is step is called what it is well that is because the folds you have been making are slowly making an N well if you have avice hold the metal in it and then get your hammer and with the end that has the fold in down held inthe vice hammer it flat!
if you dont have a vice thenhold it on the table sticking out a bit hammer the sticky out bit against the table edge. then insert one of the sides in the can use pliers to hold it flat this is to give it some strengh against the can

STEP 5: The Connection

now insert the other side of the N into the thing on the side of the helmet. use a little bit of tape if need...

STEP 6: Add the Pipe

Get your pipe and attach it to it to the can with celetape two srips for each pipe will do.put in your cans  DO NOT POUR THE SODA IN!!!!! and drink when you have the pipe out of your mouth before you take it out blow your drink in

STEP 7: Another Way to Fasten the Pipes

Get your can and drill 2 holes that are 3.6mmand place them about 10 cm apart.
Then get your bolts and your 2 pipe clips starting with the bottom bolt first put it  through the pipe clip and through the hole and fasten with a nut.

STEP 8: Fasten Them Together

get two tie wraps and then fasten the two drinking pipes together

Duct tape, not duck tape

It's both actually. It was originally duck tape, used by the US military to keep water out of ammunition cases during WWII. Then it was discovered that it had other uses such as repairing heating ducting, hence duct tape.

no it actually is duck tape, it was dubbed that by the us military, because it behaved like a duck and could work on land and in water

Just to add some constructive criticism. -You need to use full stops and grammar more. -You pointing out the tank of LPG (gas) was sort of irrelevant. -In the "What You Need" section, you used all capitals. That's the internet equivalent of shouting down a phone line. Other than that, good instructable.

Jonny is UKinese- here "gas" means "not liquid or solid", the picture shows the sort of gas used in a gas barbecue. That stuff that goes in cars is called "petrol".

Being an ignorant Yank, I had to look up bodging. I read the entire Wikipedia article trying to figure out what duct tape had to do with turning chair legs in the woods.

Then, as I read to the end of the article, the penny dropped.
